London Mavericks can today confirm an update to our upcoming home fixture against Manchester Thunder, originally scheduled for Sunday 15th June at OVO Arena Wembley.
Due to the significant increase in activity in the Wembley area associated with Capital’s Summertime Ball 2025, and after careful consideration of the impact this could have on fan travel, accessibility, and the overall matchday experience, the decision has been made to bring the fixture forward by one day. The match will now take place on Saturday 14th June.
This proactive change has been made with our supporters front of mind. Our aim is always to deliver a world-class netball experience in an environment that’s safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all. With major road closures and travel disruption expected across Wembley on the original date, this move allows us to uphold those standards and ensure fans enjoy the energy, intensity, and entertainment synonymous with a Mavericks matchday.
We want to reassure all ticket holders that existing tickets will remain valid for the new date. We understand that changes to fixture details can cause disruption, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support and flexibility.
We know how much our fans plan ahead to be part of the Mavericks matchdays, and we truly value the time, effort and passion you put into supporting the team. We completely understand that the change in date may not work for everyone. If you’re no longer able to attend, we are offering a no hassle full-refund to all ticket holders. No questions asked! Simply email info@londonmavericks.co.uk with your order number, and our team will be happy to help.
For those who have not yet secured their place, we encourage you to do so soon – this fixture remains one of the standout clashes of the season, and we look forward to welcoming you for an exciting afternoon of elite netball on Saturday 14th June.

We can’t wait to see you there – thank you for being part of the Mavericks family.
