London Mavericks can confirm that Ellie Rattu will miss the club’s upcoming pre-season fixture against LexisNexis Dragons due to injury.
Ellie has undergone an in-depth assessment and has started a return to play programme under the supervision of the England Netball and London Mavericks medical and performance staff. Ellie is a huge part of the London Mavericks squad and will continue supporting the whole team in her role as club captain.
In Ellie’s absence, Hannah Knightbridge has been called up from the London Mavericks NXT Gen Squad as a temporary replacement player. Hannah has impressed in the NXT Gen League and with the Future Roses. We are delighted to give her this well-earned opportunity to step into the Netball Super League set-up.
