Natalie Metcalf arrives at London Mavericks as one of the most decorated players in world netball, joining the club after helping Manchester Thunder lift the 2026 Netball Super League title. Across 13 appearances during the championship-winning campaign, the versatile WA/GA recorded 250 feeds, 102 centre pass receives and nine deflections, underlining her influence at both ends of the court.
Metcalf’s career has been defined by success, winning four NSL titles and two Suncorp Super Netball titles across spells with Yorkshire Jets, Wasps, Manchester Thunder and the NSW Swifts. After welcoming her daughter in 2025, she made an impressive return to court in 2026, once again proving herself as one of the league’s standout performers.
On the international stage, Metcalf has represented England since making her senior debut in 2015. A Commonwealth Games gold medallist in 2018, World Cup silver and bronze medallist, and former England captain, she has consistently performed on the biggest stage. With a wealth of elite experience and a winning mentality, Metcalf brings exceptional leadership and quality to the Mavericks squad ahead of the 2027 season.
