London Mavericks 2025/26 Trials

Bookings for Trials for the 2025/26 season are now open!

The London Mavericks pathway has two main tiers: Futures and the Performance Pathway.

Our Futures Program runs from U11 – U18, while our Performance Pathway consists of our U19 and U21 PDP squads, and U17, U19 NPL Squads – and the U15 Academy which runs from January.

Futures Trials for 2025/26 are taking place in July, with a Late trial option at the end of August. Our Performance Pathway trials are taking place in September, only those athletes who meet the performance criteria can directly book this trial, all other athletes must first attend the Futures trials and may be invited to also trial in September if identified by selectors.

What is London Mavericks Futures?

London Mavericks Futures is a 20-week training program running from September – March. Athletes will receive weekly technical sessions from experienced London Mavericks Coaches, as well as 2-3 Matchplay days where the training squads compete against one another.

PDP and Academy Opportunities

All athletes who have not previously been a part of a PDP or Academy squad must attend our July Futures Trials. There will be scouts at our U18 trials who will be selecting those with potential for success at our Pathway trials to be invited to trial in September.

Program Costs

The futures program for 2025/26 will cost approximately £625

Book Your Trial Place Now!

Once you book your trial place, you will recieve a form via email within 2 weeks, which will collect athlete information, positional and venue preferences.

All athletes must make themselves available for the trial dates for the given age-group. Specific time slots will be allocated in the fortnight before the trials.

If you are unavailable for the July Trials, you can purchase a ‘Late Trial’ for the 30th August. Please note that if trialling in August, spaces will be subject to availability following the July trials and therefore we cannot guarantee your first choice training location.
