London Mavericks region consist of 8 counties. All of which we are proud of our working partnership in supporting each other on the development of talent and participation.

Netball East Region is one of 9 Regions within England Netball. The East Region is made up of the seven netballing counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, East Essex, Essex Thurrock, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Each County has their own volunteer County Committee and a paid Netball Development Officer (NDO).

Netball East is governed by the Regional Management Board (RMB) which includes the Regional Chair, Regional Treasurer, and the Chair from each of the Technical Support Group’s (TSG) which include Competition, Finance, Officiating, Volunteering, Communications/campaigns and Inclusion/diversity.

Netball East working together with 7 counties to support the delivery of netball throughout the region including competition, coaching, finance, officiating, performance and membership. They run a regional league and the performance development programme in the region.

The London & South East Region is one of 9 regional units covering England. Each region has an elected Regional Management Board (RMB) of volunteers who work closely with England Netball staff. Together they develop and facilitate the delivery of all aspects of netball within the region. The London & South East Region became the home of Netball in the United Kingdom and today still has the world’s oldest Netball club.

The London and South East region is made up of four counties:

(1) Middlesex – the only part of London & South East county, part of London Mavericks region + (2)Essex Metropolitan, (3)Kent and (4)Surrey.

Each County has their own county committee, dealing with local matters, and a NDO who works to promote and develop netball within the County through clubs and schools.
